Carver Bikes continues to innovate purpose driven products with the new Mud Runner Disc Rotor. It is designed to address the issue of accelerated pad wear on disc brake equipped cyclocross bikes during wet, muddy races. The superior braking performance of disc brakes is undeniable but that performance lasts only as long as the brake pad. The idea for the solid braking surface rotor is from motocross racers who switch their vented rotors for solid rotors on really muddy courses to extend brake pad life. The concept is that in certain types of mud the windows in a vented rotor actually hold the mud and act as a grinding stone. With a solid rotor there are no windows for the mud to collect and the leading edge of the pad actually wipes mud off the braking surface much like a rim brake and extends the life of the pads. The side benefit is that there is significantly more braking surface. Weight is always a consideration for cross so to keep the weight down the Mud Runner Rotor is based on our 2-piece Vented Disc Rotor which is the lightest 2-piece rotor on the market. The addition of the solid braking surface of the Mud Runner Rotor only brings the weight up to other manufacturer's 2-piece vented rotors. So have your cake and eat it too. **Important Break In Information** - Due to the increased braking surface and lack of vent windows shaving off brake pad material, the Mud Runner Rotor will take slightly longer to bed in than a vented rotor. Allow for adequate break in period to achieve maximum braking power.

**Important Safety Information** - These rotors are meant for CX training and racing where heat dissipation is not an issue. These rotors are not tested or intended for disc road bike use or any application where there is extended hard braking where heat buildup is a factor in braking system performance.

Please research and make certain you know what you are bidding on. Bikeman will not tolerate bidders who claim they mistakenly bid on something under the impression it was a different product. Bikeman does not accept returns unless the product has been grossly misrepresented in the listing.

You are responsible for any duties levied by the destination country upon receipt.  Bikeman will NOT falsify customs documents or send items as "gifts."  If you refuse the package because the duties levied by the destination country are higher than you expected, you will be charged for the return shipping cost to us in addition to the initial shipping cost to you and any applicable restock charges.  Shipping prices can change based on the size and weight of the package being shipped.   Bikeman will contact you in the event that your shipping charges need to be adjusted. All items purchased from Bikeman.com and shipped by USPS are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the USPS.  Bikeman is not responsible or liable for any damage or loss arising from shipment via USPS.  Tracking data is not available for all international shipments shipped via USPS.

USPS First Class Mail - Usually 2-3 business days.
UPS Ground - Usually 1-6 business days.
USPS International Priority - Approximately 6-12 business days (Customs time not included).
USPS International First Class - Approximately 6-25 business days (Customs time not included).

We have had instances where shipments have taken much longer than the USPS indicates on their website.  We make no assertion nor take any responsibility on the delivery time via USPS. As stated in the shipping contract above, we are released of any liability, including but not limited to arrival time, once we deliver your package to the USPS.

“Business Day” refers to a non-holiday weekday. Shipment times begin the day after your purchase. If you purchase a product on a Friday and the following Monday is a holiday, your product could be shipped out on the following Thursday at the latest without breaking our shipping agreement. That said, we frequently ship items on the day of their purchase.

International shipping, particularly First Class Mail, is not predictable! Items can be held up in customs offices for days or weeks, and the amount of time it takes to reach the recipient varies widely between countries and their respective mail services. Bikeman is not affiliated with international shipping services; therefore we cannot contact them or influence them in any way. If your package has been delivered to the USPS, we’ve done our part and we can be of no help to you in tracking or locating your package. Purchase of this item indicates your agreement with these terms and demonstrates your promise not to bring international delivery questions to Bikeman or to post negative feedback based on unsatisfactory arrival times.
